Hello my crafty friends! Today I received Happy mail my new spellbinder glimmer hot foil system. My hubby ask me what would I like for Mother’s Day, so I told him to let me do some research and I’ll get back to him. I heard a lot about this glimmer system. But I wasn’t sure how it work. So I watched videos on it and read a lot of reviews. So this is my first time working with the machine. And I’m very please with it. I can’t wait to do different techniques with it now. I wanted to share my first two sample I did tonight with you guys.
Spellbinder glimmer hot system and I used Jane Davenport glimmer plate call Charisma

Second one I used is Spellbinder glimmer plate called flower pattern and I also used the silver foil that came with the products.
I did use removable tap to hold the plate in place with the 110 wt card stock. And it came out so pretty. Next I’m going to try it on watercolor paper and paint it with watercolors.

Hello my crafty friends! I’m really a fan of all Tim Holtz products. I love his distress ink, oxides and sprays. I think his thinlits are amazing. Today I wanted to share with you how I create this background for my card.
“Dive deep for the treasure that you seek”

Plus splattered water on top of my card stock and tap dry with a paper towel. Then took my TH Thinlits called Bubbles #665211, placed it on one of my papers and run it threw my vagabond 2 machine.
Took my cut out and placed it on top of my other watercolor card stock and took a few of the bigger circles and place on it too. Once I like the way my background looked. I started to add Gina K designs glitz glitter gel to my background covering all it. I set it aside to dry. Took my Stamplistic rubber stamp called Mermaiden /Layering dies, stamped it on heavy card stock and die cut it out. I highlighted the mermaid with glue and run it threw my minc machine with Gina K. Foil paper.
I color the mermaid tail with zig pens turquoise green and cornflower blue. Then I used rangers sticklers called glitter glue on the tail. Which gave it a dimension and glitter look. Print my little saying on my p-touch embellish. And this is my finished handmade card. I love the way it came out. I hope you guys try this technique too. Have a wonderful day.
