Hello my crafty friends! Today I wanted to see how Tim Holtz distress oxides and distress inks would work on deco foil toner cards. I’m so happy the way my cards came out. I aways like to combine different products together to see how they come out. So here’s my four cards I made today.
My Four deco foil cards…..
I used deco foils Summer Rainbow, Amber watercolor and amethyst watercolor. With deco foils unity toner card fronts Heart tree, flowers & lines and butterfly fly away. And used my Heidi Swapp mini minc machine.
Flowers & Lines I used Tim Holtz distress oxides kitsch flamingo, mustard seed, abandoned coral, wilted violet, twisted citron and mowed lawn. Then in the middle of flowers used TH distress inks picked raspberry, mustard seed, abandoned coral, peeled paint and shabby shutters. I also cut a flower and heart tress out, put them threw my minc machine again. Then watercolor again and add then to my two cards to give dimensions. Heart Tree I used TH distress oxides tea dye, rusty hinge and rustic wilderness. On butterfly used TH distress inks mermaid lagoon and wilted violet. The big butterfly on my card is Heidi Swapp 3D butterfly. On this card I took the negative deco foil I used call summer rainbow on the first card and cut out a black toner card and ran it threw my machine. Which gave me another card. I also took Heidi Swapp white reactive foil and put this card threw my machine again and it gave me this pretty white look around the flowers. Like you” is a simon says stamp die. The “thanks” here is also a simon says stamp die. Cut out on 110 wt. card stock. Simon Says Stamp thankful die.Simon Says stamp! “ Miss you” die
So as you can see there is a lot going on in these cards. I hope you get a chance to try this technique too. Thank you for checking out my blog. If you have any questions please let me know. Have a wonderful day and weekend.
