“Happy Mail” Wendy Vecchi Make Art Stay-tion

Hello my creative friends! Hope everyone had awesome Christmas and got everything they wanted. Today I received happy mail, so I decided to check it out and see how it does with my intricate stencils.

Make Art Stay-Tion came with 1- 12″x12″ steel magnetic base with printed grid, 4- brushed aluminum magnets and a magnetic centering ruler.

I place some Strathmore water color paper down, then place memory box stencil called butterfly vine and set magnets on top.

Picked out three of Tim Holtz Distress Oxides picked raspberry, wilted Violet and fossilized amber.

I like how easy it was to pick up the magnets, move them around to where I need them. Paper never move or stencil.

I’m so glad I decided to get this awesome tool. Looking forward to try other things on this board.

Hello my friends! I have been making a lot of Christmas cards this season, all are done and mailed. Which I’m one happy crafter. I wanted to do one more set of Christmas cards for this season. I decided to go with Tim Holtz products, you guys all know how much I love his stuff. So here it is my last set of cards for this Christmas season.

Here I used Distress Oxide salty ocean on strathmore water color paper

Then I spray some water on and pat dry.

Then made a stencil with Tim Holtz Thinlits Woodlands #660978 and distress oxides are blueprint-sketch and mermaid lagoon.

Die cut six of Tim holtz Woodlands trees out on 110 white cards stock and took some Liquitex Titanium White Acrylic and paint the trees to give it a snowy affect. Also used Simon Says Stamp Joyful die.

“Fall Leaves” painting with watercolors

Okay my friends! With this one you have to let each watercolor dry before using another color. You can always heat dry if your in a hurry. I prefer to air dry.

Colors used are Prima Tropicals watercolors #14 dark yellow, #16 lime green, #23 orange and #24 brown. And Ranger Distress Archival Ink vintage photo.

I really like the way these watercolors blended together.

Thank you again for checking out my website. Have a awesome day!
