Creating Backgrounds (with Tim Holtz Adirondack color wash sprays)

Hi my crafty friends! I decided today to get out my stash of Tim Holtz Adirondack color wash sprays, create some backgrounds for future cards. Hope you like the combination of colors that I picked for the backgrounds. I’ll list all the colors down below.

I spray water on strathmore water color paper, then spray with Tim Holtz Adirondack color wash (sailboat blue, stream and denim). Dry with a heat gun in between each colors. Then took a wet brush with water only and splattered on the watercolor paper then tap dry with a paper towel.
On this one I used same kind of water color paper. But I sprayed first with TH Sunset orange, then spray with water and move the color around. Then heat set just a little bit. Did this with each other colors red pepper and cranberry. I took a water brush and splattered water again then dap it with a paper towel.
And then I decided to see how TH color wash espresso would look with the wild plum and purple twilight. And I really love the way theses colors came out together. Again I splattered with water and tap dry with a paper towel.
Here’s the last one I did using TH colors lettuce, butterscotch and meadow. Theses three colors are also pretty together.

Thank you for checking my blog. In the next few day I will be creating some-more backgrounds with Tim Holtz sprays.

Hope everyone is safe. And have a bless day. by Annalicia Spannaus
