Hello my crafty friends! The other day I received my order on Tim Holtz new distress color line. I jump right into making three cards with the distress oxide and distress ink called villainous potion. By the way I love the name he pick for this beautiful color.
ThankfulHugsThank you
The technique I did is very simple, just ink your stamps and then spray water on it. Gentle lay stamp on water color paper. Let set for a few seconds. Remember to pick the stamp straight up and quick. This gives you a beautiful water color look to your cards. On two of the cards I blended the distress oxides around the flowers to give it a soft look. List of other products used are: Tim Holtz idea-ology kraft stock metallic jewels, DCWV glitter pastels card-stock. Gina K designs dies thankful and hugs. Kane Burniston die #1066- Thank you. Memory Box steel craft dies wrapped stitch rectangles. And the two stamps I used are rubberneckers red tulips and cherry blossoms, I also used Tim Holtz clear Stickles to give the flower a gloss look.
I hope you try this technique with any stamps and ink you may have in your stash. Please leave me a like or comment or follow me on my blog. Have a wonderful day everyone.
