New Distress Embossing Glaze

Hello my crafty friends! Today I received the new Tim Holtz distress embossing glaze products. So those who know me know I jump right in to create a coupe of background for future cards. Here is what I came up with and I truly had fun creating theses backgrounds.

Embossing glazes I uses are wilted violet, picked raspberry, candied apple, wild honey, twisted citron and salty ocean.
Used Tim Holtz ranger texture paste opaque matte and simon says stamps stencil call egg hunt and strathmore mixed media paper vellum surface. Cover the hold stencil with the paste.
Took the embossing glaze and sprinkle a little bit here and there. Once I got the look I liked, then I slightly tap underneath the card stock with my fingers to spread the glaze around.
Took a heat gun and started drying the embossing glaze until it became glossy looking.
Wow! I love the way these backgrounds look. Can’t wait to make cards with them. But next I’m going to make more backgrounds first, using other techniques with the embossing glazes. So stay tune.

Cricut Joy ( My first card I made with my new Cricut Joy)

Hello my crafty friends! Today my new Cricut Joy was delivered. Meaning for me it was happy mail. I did a lot research before I consider buying the Cricut Joy. I jump right in making one their card on designs space and put my finished touch on it. I’m looking forward to designs some of my cards and use this little Cricut to cut them out. With design space I can save my work. Which of course makes me a Happy crafter. I’m really please to add this cute little Cricut Joy to my collections.

You are my one and only
It was simple to used, I just follow directions. I did use my own card-stock 100 wt. White and Red Metallic card-stock. Then took the red card-stock and used Spellbinder embossing folder Hearts for my insert.
Also use Tim Holtz Small talk stickers.

Happy Valentine’s Day Cards

Hello my crafty friends! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Today I decided to make a few Valentine’s Day cards. The other day I was on Amazon looking at some Valentine die and card-stock. I found a couple of things I like. Here are the four cards I made using my new die I purchased from Amazon.

I feel in love with this Valentine die. The Love Heart die was only $8.99 which I thought was a good price. And now I’m please I purchased it.
This one was only $7.49 from Amazon, so I’m a happy crafter.

$14.00.

Happy Birthday Card (using Krazy Kreations Girl with Balloons)

Hello my crafty friends! I wanted to share a quick and simply Happy Birthday card I made for a dear friend of mine. I really love the way it came out and the colors I used to make this card. I wanted to keep it simply and cute.

Girl with Balloons
Krazy Kreations has this cute little kit called Girl with balloons it makes 3 cards. So I broke out the kit and peel off the vinyl girl with balloons and put it on some white shimmer paper and used Copic markers to color the balloons. Copic makers are R14 Light Red, G14 Apple Green, Y19 Napoli Yellow, RV17 Deep Magenita, B05 Process Blue and E00 Skin White.
Here’s a picture of everything I used to make this card. Karen Burniston #1030 Happy Birthday die. And DCWV 6×6 Glittler Pastels mat stack card stock. Also DCWV 12×12 The Birthday Wishes card stock. Plus #100 White card stock.

Christmas Handmade Cards 2021( using Tim Holtz Furry #4 Thinlits and Spellbinder Glimmer Plates)

Hello my crafty friends! I have been a busy bee creating many different handmade Christmas cards for this year. I wanted to share some of my cards I just finished. I made five Christmas cards using Spellbinder Glimmer plates and Tim Holtz snowflakes thinlits. And then I took the negative and made four more cards. I post everything down bellow.

Here’s the first five cards I made using Spellbinder glimmer plate called snowflake sparkle background and their silver foil with my glimmer machine.
It only took a few minutes to create five backgrounds. Card-stock used are navy blue, light blue and sky blue #110 wt. With silver foil made by spellbinder.
I took Tim Holtz distress oxides prize ribbon, blueprint sketch and mermaid lagoon and started blending around the outside of my cards. Took a dry paper towel and wipe some off the foil part.
Cut all the snowflakes out with Tim Holtz flurry #4 #663115 and TH #661599 snowflakes thinlits with Recollections silver foil card-stock paper. Also cut white glitter card stock and use Simon says stamp Merry dies #czd41.
Other products used are spellbinder Essential rectangles dies, my favorite things frames dies, circle die and white #110 card stock.
Now here are the other four cards I made with the negative foil from the first set of cards I did.
Solid plate is from pinkfresh hot foil plate, I layer down the negative foil down on the plate, then white card stock and run it thew my Sizzix machine and it came out beautiful on my cards stock.
Took sizzix circle die, frame die and run threw my vagabond.
Also used spellbinder glimmer plate called elegant holiday glimmer sentiments we wish you a Merry Christmas with red, green and silver foil. Place on my vagabond and cut out.
Here’s are the four cards I made and I love the way they came out. They shine so beautiful.
Also use some sequins for the cards.

Handmade Christmas Cards (using Tim Holtz idea-ology collage paper Christmas/Noel)

Hello my crafty friends! The other day my husband and I were out Christmas shopping. We were near a Joann craft store, so I wanted to see if they had any of Tim Holtz 2021 Christmas products. The only thing I came across was this collage paper Christmas/Noel. I was so happy to get that. I live in a small town and our Joann don’t carry any of Tim Holtz products. I always order on line or go to a Joanns out of town. Came home and couldn’t wait to play with his Christmas collage paper.

Merry Christmas
I cut out what I wanted to used, then I took Tim Holtz Stitched Rectangles thinlits #661189 and place on collage paper and run it threw my vagabond. Took 110 wt. white card stock and modpodge gloss which is a water base sealer, glue place on collage paper and let air dry.
Used Tim Holtz tattered poinsettia big die #658261, large Funky festive thinlits #664221 and 3-D texture fade foliage #665252. Plus I used Tim Holtz distress oxides candied apple, rustic wilderness and vintage photo.
Merry Christmas is from Tim Holtz Holiday Words: Script #660058.
I always do something inside the card to match the front. And I like to write a personal note when It comes to Christmas.

Handmade Christmas Snowflake Cards (2021)

Hello my crafty friends! The second week of the month I always meet with a great group of crafty women. So I decided to start working my Christmas cards for this year. I always make four to five cards when I design a card. But I make each card different meaning colors or saying. Then I designs more cards for Christmas that our different. Until I get at least 80 cards done for Christmas this year, plus more to have extra. Here is my first set of cards I made.

Let it Snow, Joy and Hello Winter
I found this Snowflake Die on Amazon, fell in love with it and so I purchased it. I also found a couple more dies too and purchased them. When I make more Christmas I’ll post them.
I took the snowflake die, tape it down on water color paper and used it like a stencil. Took Tim Holtz distress oxides salvaged patina, wild honey and specked egg, blended the colors together. I love the look I got when I lift the die up.
I also took the snowflake die and ran it thew my vagabond, cut out two snowflakes on 110 white card stock. Then I used recollections glitter paste and cover the snowflakes. The glitter paste gave it a beautiful shimmer look to my snowflakes. I let air dry. Once dried I glue my snowflakes cut out to my background.
Took Tim Holtz Thinlits set called Festive words #667775 cut out on some shimmer paper and blended the same distress oxide colors I used on background. Add some sequin mix from Picket fence studios Spring fling SQ-129 to my card.
I really love the way this card came out, so I did another one with the same color but put a different saying on this one. Still Tim Holtz Thinlits Hello winter.
Tim Holtz distress Oxides I used here are peacock feathers, cracked pistachio and mermaid lagoon.
Tim Holtz distress oxides here on this card is broken china, hickory smoke and prize ribbon.

Beautiful Lilies Handmade Cards

Hello my crafty friends! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. This weekend I got to chill and have family over for dinner. And I even found time to create in my craft room. So I’m a happy girl. I received theses new products so I wanted to create some beautiful elegant cards. I’ll list everything down below.

Beautiful Lilies
Theses beautiful lilies I die cut out of the crafters companion cardstock. I used Tim Holtz distress oxides kitsch flamingo and picked raspberry, blended the edges. Plus I use distress stickler dry glitter on the flowers.
Took my glimmer hot foil system and created all the backgrounds with pink champagne foil. Spellbinder more sentiment, Essential Rectangles and a really pretty one that came with my machine.
Each card came out really beautiful. I also used white card stock #110 and stamp envelopes to match the cards and also place the beautiful lilies in side the cards.

Happy Halloween Card( made with Tim Holtz Goodies)

Happy Halloween my crafty friends! This is my last Halloween card I made for this year. I wanted it to be a special one and share with everyone. Hope you guys like and I’ll list all Tim Holtz products down below.

Happy Halloween
I used Tim Holtz new Woodland Santa thinlits # 665573. With him I also used Tim Holtz Halloween kraft stock and paper stash called Halloween. Add some glitter to his suit.
Clouds color are Tim Holtz distress oxides villainous potion and carved pumpkin. The moon mask is done in distress oxide mustard seed with a little of carved pumpkin.
Other Tim Holtz products are frightful things #664209, fall foliage #660955, 3-D texture fades lumbar and foliage #665252 and Tim Holtz alterations Branch Tree colored with distress spray stain ground espresso. Ephemera Pack Halloween snippets.
