Charming Delight Handmade Card (Thanks)

Hello my crafty friends! Today I want to share my thoughts about how I made these two beautiful cards. I just used Altenew Stencil Art: Charming Delight and their Charming Delight die set. I will list other products used to create theses cards. I made these two for my mail lady because she is always makes sure my Happy Mail is delivered with care.

Handmade Thanks Card
I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitivelty Saturated ink to color the flowers: Melon, Cantalope, Sherbert, Latte, Bubblegum, Sweet Taffy, Sprout, Fairway and Field. Took Altenew Charming Delight stencil and used 110 white card stock with all these colors.
Then die cut the flowers with Altenew Chaming Delight Die Set.
The Lattice frame cut it out on 110 white card stock and pink. Took Tim Holtz 3D embossing folder called Lumber and run it through my other frame. Which gave it a look like a Lattice Fence. My background underneath the fence is Altenew Treasured Memories 3D folder.
Put my cards together and used SSS Thanks die and other frame I used is Memory Box die wrapped stitch rectangles.

This card was pretty simple to make and I really like the way it came out. I hope you guys try all these techniques with whatever you have in your stash and share with me.

Hill Blossoms Pretty Blue Card

Hello my crafty friends! The other day I received happy mail from Altenew. It was a stencil set and Die set. So I played around with it and this is what I came up with for my card.

Beauty Handmade Card
I really love how simple it was to create the hill blossoms stencil set and die set together. I’m looking forward to create more but in different colors.
Used Altenew ink: Mountain Mist, Aqualicious, Teal Cave, Parrot, and Shadow Creek. The back fence is from Amazon and once I cut it out I ran out through my Sizzix Machine with Tim Holts Lumber 3D Folder.
Once done with coloring I put the die over and cut out four of them for my one card.
I never show the inside of my cards. But today I’m because it simply pretty.
This came out to be a beautiful card.

Inspiration Handmade Card

Hello my crafty friends! Hope all is well with everyone. Yesterday I made this cute but simple handmade card for a friend. And I much say it is very cute. So today I’m sharing with you all before I mail it off.

You are a true inspiration!
The product I used here is Altenew Dynamic Duo : Painted Blossoms layering stencil set, their add-on die set. Plus the Painted Blossoms sentiment stamp set.
This Altenew set is really cute. I found the frame on Amazon and it cut perfect. I used 110 white card stock with the frame. The inks I use are by tim holtz distress, Oxide twisted citron, moved lawn, fossilized Amber, shaded lilac and wilted violet. Plus, I use Altenew enamel dots shaded of purple, and cherry blossom.

All About Tulip

Hello my crafty friends! Today’s card I made is all Tulips. I remember when I was a little girl my Mom loved to plant Tulips. They were so beautiful and she love to plant many different colors of Tulips. I saw this 3D Tulip and Stencil set by Altenew, so I knew I had to get it.

Thanks for everything handmade card
This is a 6×6 botanical 3D embossing folder by Altenew. I wanted my card to be a 5×6 card. So I cut my 6×6 to a 5 1/2 x 4. I took what was left over on the Tulip and fussy cut three tulips. Then I add them to my card to give it more dimension.
The colors I used are by Altenew inks: Dew Drop, Easy Breezy, Aqualicious, Bamboo and Parrot. My Thanks for everything was with Paint a flower: Waterlily Dahlia stamp set. Ink with distress oxide Peeled Painted. Other products are Wrapped Stitch Rectangles by Memory Box die. White card stock 110 and medium blue.

This card was so simple but yet came out beautiful. I hope you try this with anything in your stash.

Watercolor Handmade Card

Hello my crafty friends! The other day I was working on my watercolor technique. I made this cute watercolor card. Using Altenew Always Sunshine Stamp Set. I stamped with versa-mark and used the world’s greatest embossing powder Glacier White. Heat set it on Strathmore Mixed Media paper vellum surface. I love the way this card came out. I’m also doing another one but with different colors.

Hello Card
I used Karin brush markers pro and a water brush to paint each flowers and leaves. Colors are Plum 197, Apple 210 and gold 283 for the middle of the flowers. With the water color brush I spread the colors out.
Once dry I took my wrap stitch rectangle framed die and ran it through my sizzix machine and creating two pieces of my flowers. I found some plum card stock paper for my background frame and foam to attach to the middle of the card to give it some dimensions.
Also used Altenew elegant saying stamp & die set to put Hello on the outside of the card. Color I stamp with is distress oxide wilted violet by Tim Holtz.
This card was easy to make and I’m already working on another color doing the same technique but different colors. I hope what ever you have in your stash you will make a card like this.

Happy Birthday Cards (using Altenew Stamps)

Hello my crafty friends! I started making my cards about a week ago. I did a sneak peek on my blog about the same time I water color the flowers. So tonight I just finished them and wanted to share with you how I made the Happy Birthday cards. In my mine I wanted to keep the cards pretty with the waters colors and make the background simply but yet give it dimensions.

Happy Birthday Cards total of eight, each one came out looking beautiful and different.
I used VersaMark watermark stamp pad and Altenew White, Gold and silver embossing powders and then heat set it. On to Strathmore Mixed Media paper vellum surface. Because I knew I wanted to watercolor each flower.
Then I started picking my watercolor. I used Karin Brushmarkers Pro: Orange red 051, apple 210, gold yellow 283, plum 197, turquoise 654, burgundy 075 and olive green 281. I took a wet clean brush and apply water in a petal, then added my watercolors. Then with another clean water brush blended out the colors of each flowers. Hope this makes sense to you guys. It’s a simple technique and the embossing powder kept the water and watercolors in each pedal. Sometime I would do one flower pedal and let it dry and moved on to another pedal one that was away from the wet pedal. This process works fast because I’m using watercolors and they dry really fast.
Here are the products I used for all of these cards. Also My background was done with Altenew botanical 3D embossing folder called Always Sunshine on 110 white card stock. Then I took a wrapped stitch rectangles die made by Memory Box and cute with my sizzix where I wanted the flowers to show. I love the way they all came out.

Happy Birthday Card ( using Altenew Embossing Folder)

Hello crafty friends! Hope all is well with everyone and enjoying these beautiful weather. The last couple days have been nice. Last week we had snow for a couple days. Now we’re going to get some rain this coming weekend. I wanted to share a Birthday card I made today for a friend of mine.

Happy Birthday card
The water card stock I used is by Arteza !00% Cotton/ Cold Press Paper 140 lb. I had in my stash for a while so I thought would be a good day to work with it. I really like the how the water colors went on it.
It’s Altenew Blooming Through the Season a Botanical 3D Embossing folder. It’s beautiful I will be creating more with this folder. The colors I also used today are Altenew inks Mocha, Deep Iris, Grass Field, Finelly, Pumpkin Pen and Teal Cave.
Happy Birthday was cut out with 140 lb water color paper. The die is by Karen Burnitson Happy Birthday die. The color I use is Deep Iris.

Beeswax Candle

Hello my crafty friends! Today is a great day for me. I got my workout and my Bible study done today. Plus I even had time to work on some beeswax Candle making for my home. I purchase Beeswax sheets from this company called Candleology. I’m very happy, impressed how the beeswax sheets were made, easy to work with and shape.

I love all the colors I purchased. I will definitely order more from this company.
And I’m looking forward to making Beeswax Candles for family’s and friends. And really can’t wait to make different shapes and sizes meaning getting creative.
You can see here how thin and delicate the beeswax sheets are and that is good. Making your cuts will be simple.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARDS ( using Altenew Build-A-Garden Set)

Hello my crafty friends! I had the opportunity to finishes my Birthday cards. And now I would love to share them with you guys. The products I used is by Altenew Build-A-Garden called Japanese Anemone stamps set, matching dies and stencils. This is a beautiful set. Im looking forward to create more cards with this set.

Each one of these cards has a different color tone to them. I’m so happy to see all beautiful colors. The colors used are Altenew dye inks: Teal Cave, Aqualicious, Butternut, Pumpkin Pie, Rubellite, Rayyleberry, Peachy Keen, Tangerine Dream, Lettuce Celebrate and Permanent Black.
Here you can see once I stamp all the flowers with Altenew permanent ink black and using their Stamping Wheel. I started blending the colors. First I would stencil the lighter color in and then blended the darker in the middle of the flowers. Very simple technique.
Once I was done with my bending and like the way my flowers look. I started cutting them all out with Altenew matching die and my Sizzix die cutting machine.
Background cardstock is The Essential Craft Paper called Grunge- Light Tones. It’s 6×6 and double sided sheets. I used my A2 size stitched rectangle frame and then used Altenew Geometric 3D embossing folder and again run it through my Sizzix. Also I did the same when I cut out my tag using Tim Holtz tag dies and use white card stock 110 wt.
Then I started placing my cards the way I wanted them to look. I also cut part of the flowers so I could use it inside my cards.

Happy Birthday Card ( using balloon stencils)

Hello my crafty friends! Today was a perfect day to make a birthday card. It’s been raining most of the day. So I decided to go into my craft room and get creative. Hope you like it. The card came out really good.

Happy Birthday
Here I used three balloons stencils with distress oxide worn lipstick on 110 White card stock.
I took Recollections chunky glitter hearts, and glue them with Art Precision craft glue over the balloons. Took a black pen to make the string coming down from the balloons.
I always like to do the inside of the card, I took a stencil on a 110 white card stock and made one balloon for the inside of the card.
This is everything I used for the card that I made today.
