Crocus Layering Die Set (Altenew Die Set)

Hello my crafty friends! Today I wanted to share with everyone that I have been working on some cards for friends. They are really simply to do and easy to make. I like to keep things very simple for crafty friends that like to make handmade cards. So here’s a few of my cards. I’m sharing with you now.

These cards were made using the New Altenew “Crocus Layering Die Set. It’s truly a beautiful die set. So easy to work with and I’m loving the little key holes and number that they have on the dies. It makes it so simple to put the flowers together.
I used 110 white card stock and cut out all the Crocus dies. Then I pick my colors which are Altenew fresh Dye Ink: Be Grapeful, Purple Wine, Puffy Heart, Honey Drizzle, Autumn Blaze, Sunray and Bamboo. They are beautiful colors. I started blending these colors from the outside to middle of the flowers. Then glue them together using the key holes and numbers on the die set. Pretty simple!
I pick out my card stock paper to match the colors of ink I used. Then took another die frame which the size is 4”x 6” and cute my design card stock paper out. I used Altenew Basic plaid geometric 3D embossing folder run it through my Sizzix machine. And it gave it a beautiful 3D look. Also took another frame die called infinity dies made by Hero Arts. And used this as my outside frame on my cards.
Once I got everything done I just put my cards together and design the way I wanted them to look like on my backgrounds. The card stock paper I used for my backgrounds are The Essential Craft papers “ watercolours” paper pad, checker paper and flowers set.
