Joyful Christmas Cards

Hello my crafty friends! It’s a rainy day, so I decided to design some cute Christmas cards. And I have to say that the colors in these cards I used are really pretty. Before I started designing any cards I think of what I want to use first. This time I pick out Christmas Wreath 3D embossing folder and it has a die set that came with it. That’s alway a plus with me. Next I pick out my colors to use on the cards. Then I just go from there.

Joyful Poinsettia Christmas Wreath Cards
The 3D Embossing Folder I used is By Lisa Horton. Ink I used is by Altenew Crimson, Cherry Sweet, Misty Sage and Mossy Meadow. I took 110 White card stock, place it in the embossing folder and run it threw my Sizzix machine. Found some little blending brushes and color my wreath.
Once I was done I took the matching die and cut out my wreath with my Sizzix machine. I love the cut, I can see me doing a lot more with this set. I decided to cut the wreath in the middle so I can make two cards. My background card stock is by 49ers Market. Beautiful cardstock!
Here is where I decided to use 110 Red cardstock for my second background. Placed everything where I wanted it to be. My thoughts were wow this is going to be a beautiful cards.
I always like to laid out everything I used for these cards. I wanted more leaves just a few so I cut some out using the Christmas floral builder and add them to the wreath.
The last thing I did was die cut some Joyful word out of red glitter card stock. Then took the negative out of the Joyful and use it for the insert on the poinsettia flowers.

Poinsettia Christmas Cards, 2024

Hello my crafty friends! Today I decided to get an early start on my Christmas cards. I designed four Poinsettia cards today. Once I knew how I wanted them to look like I got busy with the Poinsettia 3D embossing folder and made these four cards. The colors came out so vibrant and beautiful. I was happy with what I used and now I want to share them with you.

A few weeks ago I went to Scrapbook Expo in Sacramento and I found this beautiful #3D embossing Folder by Lisa Horton and it also came with a matching Die set.
I took 110 white cards stock and cut it in three, then took the Christmas Floral poinsettia and run through my sizzix meachine.
Started blending my Tim Holtz distress Oxide and inks. I used Rustic Wilderness, Mustard seed and Distress Ink candied apple for the poinsettia.
Took the matching die set and laid it down over my blending poinsettias, run it through my Sizzix machine Which cut them out and did a little more blending.
Pick out my cards stock which is by 49 and Market called Christmas Spectacular 6×8 card stock. Took two framelits and cut the card stock in two. Also took 110 black and Red card stock and cut out two frames with them. Clue and raise up a few things. Once I was done with this I knew where I wanted to place my poinsettias.
After I put the cards together I decided to take some Altenew ink spray called pure white and splattered it all over my cards. This process was pretty simple. It gave it a beautiful look. I let them dry naturally.

Thankful For You (Handmade Fall Card)

Hello my crafty friends! Yesterday I decided on make a fall handmade card for a dear friend of mine. And I want to share with everyone how I made this card. I wanted to keep it simple but yet pretty. I hope you like the card and try this technique with anything you have in your stash.

Once again I made this card for a dear friend of mine. She is a wonderful and beautiful woman that has always been there for me in my life.
I used Altenew Leafy Splendor #3D Embossing Folder and its matching stencil set to create this pretty fall leaf card. I also pick out Altenew ink colors which are Lemon, Orange Cream and Moss.
There are two stencils with this set so I took the first one place it over my card stock that I embossing with my Sizzix.
I started with my first color lemon, and blended the top of the leaves only. Then the second color was Orange Cream blended it in the middle. The third was Moss ink and blended on the bottom of each leaves. Also went back with the lemon and lightly blend ii with the other colors. Did the same with the second stenicl.
Took some frame lite die and place where I wanted to make my cut. Also took some 110 white and Olive card stock and border it around my leaf cuts.
Here is a picture of everything I used to make this card. Also took some Altenew enamel dots warm and Cozy and add to the card. And I also used the same color of the front the card for my inside too.

Thankful Card ( using Altenew Pumpkin in Patch 3D Embossing Folder and matching Stencil)

Hello my crafty friends! I wanted to share with everyone these two cards I made today. I just got back visiting my family in Dallas. My husband and I had a wonderful time with our Grandkids and our Great grandkids. While we were on our trip I received Happy Mail. So I decided today to get busy and make a couple of cards. Hope you like them and will try making cards like this no matter what is in your stash.

Here I used the Pumpkin in Patch 3D embossing folder on 110 white and orange card stock. I first embossed the card stock.
Once I ran it thew my Sizzix machine I pick the colors I wanted to used: which are Altenew inks Sunkissed, Orange Cream, Autumn Blaye, Firebrick, Maple yellow and Snapdragon. It’s really simple I just layer the matching stencil and started blending my colors I pick.
Once I was done with this I took my Memory Box wrapped stitch rectangle’s frame and die cut the my background. Also took Altenew ink spray “Pure White and splattered it over my background. I let it dry for about 5 to 10 minutes before I continue to work more on my cards.
The last thing I did was used Simon Says Stamp die called Thankfull and cut it out with glitter and plane card stock. This card stock is by Recollections 6×6 pad.
